Black Magic is your slightly more then basic run away robot story. It is brought to you by the same people who brought us Appleseed, and Dominion Tank Police. If you enjoy those two anime, you will probably like Black Magic.

Sybel, a rather independent freelance video journalist, becomes involved in a military "oops". Assassin robots called M-66 have accidentally been released and are now after their creator's granddaughter. Nothing good can come of this.....

Black Magic M-66 is not a bad anime, especially if you really liked Appleseed or Dominion. There are several cross references and characters among these three.
